Fragrance brands exited Q3 2026: how we count an exit

  • Exited = ranked on a fragrance board at that retailer, then on none, and not found online at the retailer.
  • Core fragrance houses only. A grooming or skincare house whose one ranked SKU was not a scent is left out.
  • Products = ranked SKUs across every fragrance board at that retailer when last seen.

The 7 biggest fragrance exits at Ulta and Sephora

The biggest fragrance brand exits at Ulta Beauty and Sephora, Q1 2025 to Q3 2026: HomeWorx, Candier, Duke Cannon and Natura at Ulta; AERIN, Floral Street and ABBOTT at Sephora

The read:

  • Home scent, not perfume. HomeWorx (30) and Candier (25) ranked candles.
  • Q2’26 was the wave at Ulta. All four on the board were last ranked Q1’26 and gone a quarter later.
  • AERIN ranked 6 products at Sephora in Q1’25 and none by Q4’25.
  • Floral Street lost one door, not the category. It still ranks at Ulta through Q3’26, ten products deep.
  • Sephora’s fragrance shelf barely lost anyone: 4 exits against 13 at Ulta.
  • 9 more Ulta exits and 1 more Sephora exit are in the report.

Silent exits

  • 0 of 17 have a public reason: no trade report, no brand statement, no retailer note.
  • Nobody announces a delisting. The first public signal is the rank disappearing.
  • That is the case for tracking the board. By the time the brand page empties, the decision is a quarter old.

What this means for your brand

  • Home scent is exposed at Ulta. If you sell candles or diffusers there, watch your ranked SKU count every quarter.
  • A second door is insurance. Floral Street lost Sephora and kept Ulta.
  • Read the board, not the press. None of these 17 made the news.
  • Know where you stand before the next quarter decides for you.
